Zalman cnps7000a problems?

Just bought a zalman cpu fan and my system wont boot unless i underclock my cpu to 650mhz.

i have updated to latest bios but no luck and there is nothing in bios i can find to stop fan monitoring.

any ideas?

system specs:

a7n8x-e
amd 3200+xp (currently @ 6.5 x100 :( )
wd 80 hdd
2 x 512 333ddr
380 watt antec power supply

ps system was werking fine b4 fan installation

Where is the sensor for the fan is it controlled by the board or is it a wire one ?

And where is the temperature control settings for the fan check bios setting and make sure its not set to low or not set at all.
