Well having had a look at single player BF-V all I got to say is "WOW" it should be a great game to play on a large clan basis.

As such I would like to find out those who are interested in playing this game on a comp level. I have posted this in the pub forums as WTF does not appear to have teh numbers to get a 12+ player side together and would like to know if any of the old CS players arre looking at playing this mod and if so would they like to join our ranks.

Dust off those 16's warm those uh-1h engines and lets get ready to drop some napalm :D.

P.S if your not intereseted please dont reply this is not a general discussion of BF-V thread there are other in this forum to do that this is to see who is interested in playing.

It will be interesting to see how to BFV linux server that is installed on the WTF box goes. Hopefully the server will be able to handle enough people for training sessions.

Internode has had a 50 player BFV server up for days now, wish the retail verison would hurry up and get released heh

Interesting to see how it plays.. hopefully it isnt just a vehicle fest, and infantry still make up for 90% of the people on the server.

I just bought it so I'll give it a go....but keep in mind I might find it pretty hard to make matches until after daylight savings ends i think.



Although I'd like to add its basically BF: 1942 so if you don't like bf:1942 theres no point getting this game. And considering how successful I think bf1942 is as a clan game I doubt this game will last long. Granted it is a fun game I can't see myself playing it for as long as I've played HL Mods.

um bf1942 is a very successful clan game, check out how many clans play in the GA comps.

yeah i would be interested to play but i still have to try it out first to be sure

i'll get a copy of trauma one day....havent had a chance to do it recently as I have been very busy with job interviews lately.

I loved flying planes in BF:1942 and destrying tanks, i still play and do that often today.

My only real complaint about the game is there are far too many vehicles in the game. imo it should be restricted to one aircraft and ground vehicle per side (non-respawnable). Also those names that pop up over the opposition I dont like either!
