Far Cry is due out on March 25th (Well in the States it is). I suggest you purchase this game from DVDBOXOFFICE (http://www.dvdboxoffice.com) as it's only $53:00A.U including shipping!

Anyway, IGN have written a pretty damn good review of the final game and I can't wait to play it (Unless UT2004 and BF:Vietnam get in the way :( )

Read the review Far Cry Review (http://pc.ign.com/articles/500/500550p1.html).

It looks like this game will really benefit from running a High-End rig although it is (thankfully) very scalable. BTW I have ordered UT2004 Special Edition (2 DVD's) from dvdboxoffice and will happily copy you the disk that contains the over 150 hours of tutorials. Apparently they are VERY good tutorials and I can't wait to start mapping for this game. If you can't find it elsewhere just supply me with a Blank DVD and I'll do it for you. I'll only limit this to say 5 copies as postage will get expensive. From there I guess copies can spread as I'm sure (And hope) they will. The more people learning UT2004 mapping the better I say as I love the new game modes such as Onslaught (Hey Ons your famous mate! :) ).

Cheers

Im running an xp3200, 1024MB DDR ram, 9700pro. Running at 1024 res, water on very high, rest on high, apart from environmental settings. Getting between 35-90fps depending on whether it is outside or inside etc.

Very playable, best single player game i've played since Halflife.

Yeah I'm going to buy Farcry...fuck thats a sweet game  - thankfully I've got a system that can manage it now (Shuttle 75G2, P4 3.2C, Radeon 9800Pro) - I'll get some more ram though only got 512 and I reckon 1024 might be a benefit, especially running at dual channel!

I gotta say the AI is pretty smart in this game - I'm hoping for many mods with this engine :)

I'll head over to the IT mall to see if its there today! :D
