Bought it yestaday for $49.95 at EB. Considering it has about 10 new levels, 3 new weapons and a couple of new multiplayer game modes, I can't say it should be priced so high.

Most of the stuff could have been done as a mod, saying that, the new levels looks brilliant and the hostage capture game mode is great

Don't think I will buy Athena sword....I want to play far cry ....fuck that game is nice. I hope the story that goes with it is decent. I need a decent story to keep me interested in a game these days. :)

Stories alright in Far Cry, not as good as Half-Life's but enough to keep you coming back for more.

The 180 page manual for the editor was released the other day, bring on the mods!

Suprised ou havent got it yet, came out abotu a week ago. Throw away the knife and pistol, those slots are better used for other weapons.

Set resolution at 1024x768.
Water: very high
textures: high
Environmental effects: medium
special effects: high
shadows: high (you just have to have shadows on at least high, or you dont get the shadows crossing your weapons, looks sweet)

Framerate usually around 40ish outside and 60+ inside, can drop to around 30 in some of the outside areas when theres heaps of shit going on.
