Gday WTF,

Thought I would come over and suss out the opposition for what will be a very tough match for us. Probably too tough :). Anyways, you folk have been around longer than most Australian DOD clans, and deserve respect for playing the game that we all love for so long.

I’m not sure on your current viewpoint of the game, but lately there’s been so much talk of the game going down hill, with the collapse of top clans and so on. But people tend to forget about clans like yourselves, and others that may have just managed to fly under the radar yet continue to exist. The game is just going fine if you ask me.

Either way, I’ll slap my fingers myself before I blabber on and write a nasty essay. Game on!

I'd say the pub side of the game has gone downhill rapidly, used to be you could jump onto any server which was usually 16 slots and have a bash around, less camping, more fun. Now, with the big 26, 28, 32 servers being more popular, and the introduction of the MGs, hard to get a pub game that isnt all static camping. Most teams are going to have to play more scrims instead.

As for the top clans dying, that really doesnt bother me. The clans that play dod for fun, without need to win competitions and prizes will still hang around for as long as the game is supported I'd say. For me now its more about playing with mates and giving it ago.

Maybe its a good thing the top clans left; although I'm sure it'll be a pt/xg final, the final series and the weeks leading up to it will be much more interesting than last season. I'm sure we'll see some suprises matchups and underdog wins.
