Why O why Dont Australia have Powerline Broadband?
it is sucha a great idear, what cable does almost every householde have? a powercable.
for poor people like me it would be awsom, i cant get adsl or cable, and sat is just useles and overly expencive.

Powerline broadband is in use at 11mb/s download and 2.5mb/s upload.
But has been tested to go to 27mb/s download 18mb/s upload (with Latest Powerline modems)

The question stands, if the power companys could offer a cheaper faster more accessable broadband access than the Monoply Telstra, Optus or other companies, what would they do, finnaly there would be some real compatition.

there are many articals on the net about this topic, USA,UK, Singapore and many other uropeian countrys have this serverice up and running, why not AUS, is there some scandle that is stopping this technology coming into use in this country, maby the govenment would loose to much money from telstra? i leave it to you.

a short vid about this: http://www.uplc.utc.org/file_depot/0-10000...C_broadband.ram (http://www.uplc.utc.org/file_depot/0-10000000/0-10000/7966/folder/23284/UPLC_broadband.ram)

A monopoly consists of just one company, You might be thinking of a "conspiracy".
