I've read a lot of Sci-Fi novels in my time and a many of them describe what the battlefield of the future might look like. Some of the technology is obviously 'out there' but what is Fiction today may well be reality tomorrow. I read this article nodding my head - this is only the beginning.

If there's one thing (unfortunately) that moves technology forward it's War.

Now they'll have to invent 'Anti-Electrical Armour warheads'

A warhead that fires a jet of water into the target at around 1,000mph?? (quote from the article, and replaced copper with water)

electricity and water don't mix... thats what i was always taught.

hmmmmm wonder if we will see terrorists with water pistols ;)

I also wonder if they had occupants in the tank when they tested the rocket launchers on it ;)

"This makes a connection and thousands of amps of electricity vaporises most of the molten copper."

Hmmmm....If thats what it does to a metal, I don't want to imagine what it would do to a human body.

That would be handy when u ran out of ammo just ram ur vehicle against nmy soldiers.

How about this: Just make the vehicle/tank invisible. This is gonna be another future techology in widespread use in combat in the future.

I dont think it would be sustainable for a long time without a charge. Wouldnt it burn dirt too?...Iraq would've been funny to watch.
