After Tour of Duty was yanked from channel seven after about three episodes a few months back, I was waiting for the show to be released on DVD. By luck, I stumbled upon the fact that the first season was released on DVD in the US two days ago, around $37 at Amazon.com

However, judging by the reviews, they have not included the original soundtrack. The songs definitely made the show, so let the buyer beware. Hopefully they rectify this later/for the Aust. release, but I wouldnt hold my breath.

I have ordered this Box set already , I still want to see it .. I have all those songs already on CD or MP3. I can live with the songs being not exactly the originals from the series

With the utter shit that is on TV these days, its incredible they couldnt find a timeslot it would have done alright in. They didnt even give it a chance.

I believe licensing issues have caused the problems with the soundtrack, also happened to the Young Ones DVDs and The Late Show.-

Top show, I watched it when it was on the first time around. I have all the music and I noticed there's a 'Best Of Tour Of Duty' out as well.

Cheers
