IT WOULD NOT BE that interesting to read about the X800SE card except that ATI gave us a link telling UK customers where they can also buy their X800XT and PRO cards.
ATI gave us this (http://www.blisware.com/ati_products/ati_products_connect3d.htm) address which clearly mentioned new ATI card that we wrote about few times before, X800SE crippled version of X800PRO and XT all based on the same mother R420 core.
Like X800PRO, the SE brother will have VGA, DVI and TV out so no surprises there. All we know for sure is that card will have a 256 bit memory interface while there are no any clock details about engine and memory speed. Last time we heard about this card we heard it will have eight pipelines and will have 256MB of memory. This memory will be DDR 1 according to our papers and should rock at 450MHz. The board is codenamed Skateboard as we suggested quite some time ago. We will get more details soon.
