6 PIONEER DVR-A08XLB BLK 4XDVD+R DUAL LAYER / 16XDVD+-R

I am getting one of these ( I already have a Sony DRU500a single layer) to replace my Liteon CD-RW drive

Will my burning software (Ulead DVD Factory) http://www.ulead.com/dmf/runme.htm

work with a dual-layer DVD media ? Do I need special software for this hardware?

I wouldent imagine so, but if you do there will be no doubt a patch on the site pretty soon !!

I have got this DVD Burner now but I loathe to risk making a coaster on a $13 blank disc
unless I know the software supports dual layer.

I think a patch came out like 2 or 3 days ago for Ulead Dvdmoviefactory to support dual layer, I saw it on the official site yesterday.

I refuse to move onto dual layer just yet. Once they get down to like $1 a disc, I'll consider it then. Though yeah, I reckon the latest nero would probably be the best choice.
