I don't think we will be seeing Half Life 2 for quite some time yet. If you watched CNN/BBC today you would have seen the news about the latest and greatest venture Valve has moved into and how it has been taken away in a couple of seconds.
A senior reporter at CNN reported that while Gabe Newell was travelling to his local Mc Donalds were Valve were holding there annual board meeting in the prestigious Mc Donalds party room.
News has been preety slim at this time but people have reported seeing Gabe Newell running into the Mc Donalds car park screaming with joy to his business partners holding a copy of Half Life 2 on cd in his hand.
It was then reported that Gabe Tripped over the slide and swing set and landed flat on the only copy of Half-Life 2 made. As a result of this fall the cd was torn apart in such a way that it's almost not visable by the human eye. Farensics teams are currently working on putting the cd back together using advanced nano technology.
Reports are still comming in regarding this issue regarding later on that day, it was reported that Gabe hobbled back to the Valve head office in his back yard and told the Valve coders they will have to work late this week as they are now going to have to endure the task of a life time. They have been given the task to code Half Life 2 in less than 3 days.
