I might need some online assistance in setting up my wireless network at home
does anyone have any knowledge in this area in the clan that I can call upon if needed ? I am going to hook up my laptop via wireless network 802.11g

1 x D-Link DI-624+ Router: Airplus ExtremeG+ WiFi 802.11g 11/22/54mbps
1 x D-Link DWL-G650+ PCMCIA WiFi: 802.11g 54mbps

this is what I am getting , I have no idea how hard this is going to be however the store sales person claims it is is easy

Well I am connected to the internet via my laptop wirelessly to my cable modem via the wireless router. My question is how do I access the files on my desktop and download them and how do I send files to desktop to my laptop ?

There is probably an easy answer but I am much a novice but I think I've done pretty well and even have 256kb encryption setup !
