New CATALYST 4.12 drivers (http://www.techspot.com/redir?target=http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/winxp/radeonwdm-xp.html?type=xp&prodType=graphic&prod=productsXPdriver&submit.x=14&submit.y=16) from ATI have become available. A number of issues (http://www.techspot.com/redir?target=http://www.ati.com/support/includes/titles/fixed.html) have been resolved, including problems (http://www.techspot.com/redir?target=http://www.tech-report.com/onearticle.x/7734) with Half-Life 2, DOOM 3, Counter-Strike, and other titles.
CATALYST supports 24 languages, but The CATALYST Control Center is available in English only. ATI recommends Windows XP SP2 to be installed.
Installing a new driver is only recommended if you are having issues with your ATI product, including those mentioned in the "Fixed in this driver" (http://www.ati.com/support/includes/titles/fixed.html).
