Problem with Azureus

Ok its pretty simple I formatted my hdd now when I install azureus andrun the config proggie when it comes to testing port 6881 it has a NATissue I am running norton internet security which I ran previouslywithout any isses. I am at a loss as to why it wont work now.

you need to make sure that you have port 6881 open in norton aswell as your router if you have one. To change the port in norton open the firewall click Personal Firewall, on the bottom right click the yellow configure button. Click the advanced tab and then General Rules.

Click Add, radio button Permit ,next, radio button Connections to and from other computers.

Next, radio button Any Computer , next radio button TCPand UDP, now the important bit
where it says what type of connections would you like to permit click the radio button Only the types of communication or ports listed below.

then click add, click the radio button individually specified ports type the port number in the box below next all the way out and that should be it.

Be sure that in the main configuration page of norton under the program control that Azures is in there and is not blocked it needs to have permit all next to it.

Failing all that you need to set the rule in your router aswell but I cant help with that unles you let me log in remotely.

ta wouldn't have thought it was router issue per say as I have not touched hte router to reconfig after format. will attempt those steps and see how I go
