Is there a way to make XP shutdown and turn pc off when u select shutdown? instead of going to the black now safe to turn off screen?

i think its your power supply that does it ... newer power supplies will shut off the pc when its safe i think

Pali is correct New ATX power supplies are what does that.

my 98 used to do it :( but not on xp :( oh well
