Just to explain why some of our members got mad last night, onslaught was spawning on our team as a green guy a member of the squad and killing members of that squad. I guess it was a bug of some sort, he eventually rejoined and it was fine from then on.

Exodus was also shown as blue the whole the entire game and wouldnt rejoin which is frustrating.

Sorry to be a whinger but just want you guys to understand why tempers flared, I wish there was a pause button so people would stop and read the text :P

I think everyones fine, as u said it is just frustrating.
Most of us have been playing since TFC started, whiches is like geez what 6 or 7 years ago, believe me, we arn't some retards who like to fuck around, we just wanna have fun and play the game. Peeps just gotta keep cool, give peeps the benifit of a doubt

Mate until the morons fix these bugs(and there are TONS of them)...esp ones like those, these things are bound to pop up....god knows how they are going to do it on the GA comp.

Yhe damn bug Ive been kicked out of a few servers cause of that colour bug, I remember tking the same guy 3 times in a row cause he spawned the wrong colour :(

Neways our server was a bit fucked up and were working on it atm our server was only using 23 % of its recources so there is another problem, you are all welcome to come back and train again nextweek.

The colour bug sucks and I hope it doesnt stuff the comp considering if you lose the match you are out of the comp. Been a problem since the first version and it still hasnt been fixed :(

btw there is a pause button (well at least there is in BF1942 and BFV). No idea whether it works properly in BF2 servers but pretty sure there is a pause command.

Hey guys, thanks for the scrim again.

Apologies again for the outbursts due to very frustrated players, doesn't excuse the behaviour, and has already been dealt with in-house.

Other than the colour bug, the lag, became unbearable towards the end. I couldn't even turn into a street in a tank as I was jumping 10 to 20 metres at a time in places.

Last week the server was perfect, didn't miss a beat, no bugs that I know of, but about 7 to 9 per team were playing. This week was atrocious with around 12 per team, and obviously a little more strain on the teamspeak server happening as well. But as you say resources of the server didn't appear to be overchallenged.

Yeah the tourney could be interesting, and especially if a patch comes out mid tourney how they handle it. Be prepared to take lots of screenshots if bugs appear in a tourney game, although gamearena might record games????.

The Scrim the week before was a great evening, and I'm sure we were all looking forwards to Monday. Shame the lag and gliches ruined it, I didnt notice I was too busy respawning and cursing ViEpiglet all the time.

Yeah we enjoyed previous Monday too. And yes piggy tends to own people, he's pretty damn good.

Where I think the 2 clans can learn from each other is ViE are an RTS clan venturing into FPS, and WTF have been an FPS clan for a very long time so there's some differences in strategies bound to happen.

Actualy for your information i did actualy relog due to BF2 crashing to desktop.

As for the bugs it effects us all not just the individual, I saw beastie as a enemy for some reason and he was beeping that horn and looked and went ohh crap i better shoot :P its red.

So guys just chill the bugs are annyoing the lag was too but just get over it and have some fun as i surely did.

Well there was only 1 member that typed anything.

We will definately scrim/practice again, I have another server lined up if your interested for next monday?

Having spoken to ons who has looked into this it does not actually seem to be anything to do with our hardware (though we will be double checking the network card just incase the onboard has shat itself).

CPU usage spiked at 25%
RAM usage spiked at 11%
System was idle about 70% of the time.

We shall be looking into this problem further as from all account 7 days earlier ran smooth as hell.

I think for most of us it was the first time we'd seen the bugs, and not even heard of them, and I think a couple may have felt there was some shenanigans going on, leapt to wrong conclusion perhaps. But wiser heads realised a reload was necessary but couldn't get attention of the WTF players further exasperating them. I understand whilst using teamspeak we tend not to read the screen much for opposition messages though.

I did reinforce to them the WTF clan is above any of that, all fairminded and sporting. They will learn from it.

Sorry about the colour problem.. when I had it confirmed.. I re-joined, still I know its irritating, I have been on the wrong end of it a couple of times myself.

Regardin the server. Its not getting stressed at all in CPU or Mem usage. I will talk to the ISP regarding network problems, as I have a feeling it may be bandwidth throttling that is causing the problem. I will be looking into the problem, when I have some more free time (from next week onwards).

I hope the battle recorder is turned on for the GA comp games, i want to get all the WTF ones and convert them to MPEG2 for a WTF BF2 2005 DVD.
