Saw a guy cheating on TFC server

I was on "Team Fortress" or "Xtra team fortress" or something server, and on a map with a laser (name escapes me for the moment) and a player named "speed racer" was floating through the air and would disappear if I fired at him, he would then drop down behind the laser without deactivating them at the switch and then float back up and go and cap.

Thought I was going senile hearing that my flag was taken while I was protecting the switch that hadn't been deactivated, and went to investigate and saw a medic floating about, behind the laser. (Don't tell ptp I was playing in Defense, perhaps I have gone senile?)


Grrrr at cheats and bunny hoppers.

Heaps of them getting around.. HW lastnight was as fast as a scout in cv2.
His ping was 0

And max the hack your talking about keep your eye out ,they come throught the floor at you :)

no, its been in since quake1 and has been in everygame based on this engine.

noone classifies it as a hack unless you are able to go faster than 170%

i think bhop is good for TFC as it increases the pace of the game. I think of it as more of a "sprint" u cant bhop and fight ppl at the same time, its more about getting from one place to another quicker than normal and hard to hit.

i find walking places very frustrating and always end up jumping up and down anyway...

chop hop and bhop scripts are taking it a bit too far tho. Can you chop hop without a script? Anything that needs a script to be done in TFC should not be in TFC at all...

u dont need a bhop script to bhop, but some do, you do not need a rjump script but some do, you dont need a conc script but some do.

my point is that those thing are ok because they can be done without a script, maunally...

tho i dont think u can chop hop without a script correct? therefore chop = hax
