Call Of Duty Demo

The Call of Duty Demo is now out (You can download it form various links but if you're a Telstra User get it from Gamearena).

The demo itself is relatively brief but it gives you a very good idea of what to expect from the full game. The question I asked before playing it and reading the previews was 'Is it going to be better than Medal Of Honor'? The answer to that is a resounding and emphatic YES! The level(s) are far more saturated and detailed. There is a lot happening in the background which ensures you feel you're there rather than just being 'part' of a game experience. Graphics are just superb (OpenGL I'm pretty sure because it used PAK files) and are a definite improvement on Medal of Honor.

So go get it and let us know what you think.

Good stuff, its not hard to tell it was made by the same guys, it has that feel.
but as you said Blade, the demo level was more linear than the moh, and thats a good thing.

i like how the jerry's come bolting out of the building when you heave a grenade in there :)

Wow! YOur right about it being a lot more immersive than MOH blade! That was awesome...I can't wait for the full game now ;)

Oh - I've actually been playing through MOH the last couple of weeks but I dunno if I can go back to it now hehe....

wow, that's freaking badass that game.

I never played MOH, is this going to be an expansion for it or a new game altogether.

Also will I be able to understand whats going on if I havnt played the MOH? As in is there a story continuation from it to this game.

As you can see im a MOH noob, please fill me in.

I dont know about anyone else but if its like MOH Spearhead expansion then Ill love it. I found the expansion held me where as the old MOH I never bothered finishing until lately because it didnt make me feel like I was really in the thick of it. Spearhead was like being on the set of Band Of Brothers, shells exploding all around you in bastone, Paratrooping over Omaha Beach just seemed so real.

Cant wait for this one if it even comes near to spearhead.

I played the demo last night...i too think its an awesome game ...cant wait till its out.....pity the demo wasnt a bit longer =).

Is MOH anything like it...ive not played it at all ?....if so i think i better track me downs a copy

It's a stand-alone title mate. You don't need to have played the MOH series at all even though the authors are the same.

Yeah definately play it on Vetran, its far more fun playing it to live then and not rushing into a bunker full of germans and take a few scratches from ammo hitting you at point blank :)

Hopefully the full game rocks, cause i remember the demo of MohAA was good then MohAA full game sucked abit hard. If they can keep the action going then it will be sweet!

I am guessing that MP will be like MohAA and MOH Spearhead.

Even on veteran it still seems a bit easy, but it is good fun.. I never played MOHAA before..

Looking forward to seeing the final version
