steam fuxed my hl :/

has anyone else installed steam and updated their halflife/tfc/cs/dod?
i did last night but now my hl is fuxed :realmad:
whenever i go into it it is fine until i move my mouse. when i move my mouse hl.exe stuffs up and no i don't want to send a fricking error report
its the same for tfc, dod, cs and halflife itself.
anyone else got the same problem?
im about to go and reinstall hl to see if it fixes

mine didnt even get that far before crashing...

It was copying my existing HL folder over to steam.. it crashed.. and even on reinstalls.. it wont give me the option to copy my originals over.. it wants to downlaod about 900MB :(

Well i fixed my problem.. I figured out that the only time you get the option to import your old mods accross, is when you create a new steam account..

So I created a second dummy account to get the import mod wizard to work.

hey this steam seem to be a real pain in the ass i say
my friend dl the program and what he got back was saying a Corrupt installation file!and a bad installation file! does anybody know what this mean and it be good if somebody can help me out on this problem please and he is very :realmad:
cause it took him to dl 379mb so im saying is HELP HELP
