What im noticing is everyone has no patience,
We are lucky with COGS .its Australian,
Steam is in another Country.
People are not giving it time to login and are sitting there clicking everything.

Anybody ever used GameSpy ect would know what its like.

Any of the Old westwood players had it for years!

Slow Down :-?

he's doing a site for dept of transport i think..

His issue atm isnt actually lost content.. its moved all of his listed games to "available games" and it no longer likes his legit CD-key.

what i find is Steam cranks 100% cpu power to start up and then settles down... try not to open steam up with other proggies o_O

Haven't had any issues with steam...its working fine and I like the improvements to the interface.

If you haven't backed up the cache files just do a regular install of HL+mods then install steam and let it detect the existing HL and transfer it to a new directory. Which is what I did initially.
