Actual radio conversation released by the Chief of Naval Operations, 10-10-95


Hail: Please divert your course 15 degrees to the North to avoid a collision.

Reply: Recommend you divert YOUR course 15 degrees to South to avoid a collision.

Hail: This is the Captain of a US Navy ship. I say again, divert YOUR course.

Reply: No. I say again, you divert YOUR course.

Hail: THIS IS THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER ENTERPRISE, WE ARE A LARGE WARSHIP OF THE US NAVY. DIVERT YOUR COURSE NOW!

Reply: Well, this is a lighthouse... Your call.

stop trying to rip of the ABC any more than the government is already

that is this is straight off freaky stories on the ABC at about 4:00 in Adelaide

this particular episode aired in Adeliade a few weeks ago and i would like it in future if people could come up with their own jokes instead of ripping off the ABC

This was for the benefit of people who hadnt bummed around watching childrens programs all day:) (this forum is for old farts, who wouldnt watch shows like that (except rusty for some reason? like kids shows?))

i have a 6 year old brother that gets control of the TV and I don't.

Nitocris you IDIOT! Jokes are passed down like yarns! People dont just think up a joke off the top of their heads and chuck it in the board. They see it on the internet, a friend tells them, it's written on a toilet wall, etc.

The ABC (the people that wrote the segment) probably saw the joke elsewhere and put it into their show.

Grow a damned brain and come back when you can think of something logical to say other than slandering someone for SUPPOSEDLY stealing someone elses joke!

P.S. Here's some proof of the PUDDING that the ABC STOLE THIS JOKE!!!
