hi all need a little help

I have telstra cable and it have it going thought my Cnet cnig904B broadband gateway but my cable is dropping very 5 to 10 mins .
So I had a looking the logs and found this 2043W Heartbeat did not arrive. Attempting to confirm connection via logon how do I set this up so it can get the heart beat I have had a look around but I have had no luck do I need to open a port or some thing…

If your router is not capable of sending the heartbeat (ie: Bigpond compatable) you have to install the client as well.

BTW. a google search showed no such thing as a Cnet cng904B

you are screwed it is some russian thing , does not support BPA, throw it in the bin and buy something decent or install your client software.
